Job details

The Center for Balanced Living is seeking qualified candidates that value a challenging, positive and highly motivated work environment. This position functions as a critical support liaison between the clinical program teams, the business office and the patients we serve. The successful candidate will coordinate, manage, update and enter confidential data in patient records and accounts. The candidate must also demonstrate a proficiency in compassionate customer service including working through billing issues with patients, families and insurance companies. Additionally, this role is crucial to the coordination of issues and activities among the clinicians, programs and non-clinical staff. The candidate will attend all clinical staff meetings and prepare notes and serves as a liaison in the continuity of care.

The successful candidate must possess:

Education: Associates Degree in Healthcare Administration/Management, Behavioral Health or Business, Accounting or Records Management or related fields. (Bachelor’s Degree preferred)

Experience: 1-3 years working in a behavioral health or healthcare office setting

The successful candidate must have strong customer service and problem-solving skills. They must be motivated and able to coordinate complex issues. This position handles highly confidential information and must be able to handle private health information appropriately. In addition, the candidate must have an ability to work with various accounting and health records software.

Competitive Wage: negotiable

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8-5 with occasional evening or weekend
