The Center for Balanced Living is a free standing, non-profit organization that provides multi-disciplinary eating disorder treatment to individuals ages 16 and older. We are proud of our compassionate environment. The Center is internationally recognized for its high quality, evidence-based, best practices in the treatment of eating disorders. In fact, we are one of only two sites in the country providing a neurobiologically-based family inclusive 5-Day Treatment for Eating Disorders. We are located just north in Columbus Ohio off Route 23, north of Interstate 270.


Job details

The Center for Balanced Living is seeking qualified candidates who value a challenging, positive and highly motivated work environment. This position is a critical customer service position as part of a front office team answering incoming calls, scheduling new patients for initial appointment, checking in clients including taking any money owed, scanning, copying and any other tasks to make each client feel welcome and safe and each clinician able to focus on seeing clients.

The successful candidate must possess:

Education: High School Diploma or GED, Associates Degree in the healthcare field or equivalent preferred.

Experience: 1-year experience in a medical support setting or equivalent related experience

The successful candidate must have strong customer service, communication and problem-solving skills and ability to be punctual each day. They must be motivated and able to coordinate complex issues. This position handles highly confidential information and must be able to handle private health information appropriately.  In addition, the candidate must have an ability to work with various accounting and health records software. Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Competitive Wage: $15 an hour

Work Schedule:  Part time Mondays through Thursdays, 4:30 pm – 7:30 pm
