The Center for Balanced Living is a free standing, non-profit organization that provides multi-disciplinary eating disorder treatment to individuals ages 16 and older. We are proud of our compassionate environment. The Center is internationally recognized for its high quality, evidence-based, best practices in the treatment of eating disorders. In fact, we are one of only two sites in the country providing a neurobiologically-based family inclusive 5-Day Treatment for Eating Disorders. We are located just north in Columbus Ohio off Route 23, north of Interstate 270.


Job details

The Center for Balanced Living is seeking qualified candidates that value a challenging, positive and highly motivated work environment. This position oversees the organization, operation and implementation of office procedures and is responsible for coordinating, scheduling and training staff at the front desk. The candidate must demonstrate a proficiency in compassionate customer service, phone etiquette, confidentiality and HIPAA.

The successful candidate must possess:

Education: Associates Degree in either Business Administration, Health Administration, Office Administration, Communications or a similar field.

Experience: 3 years of experience working in customer service, medical records office, insurance office or as a high level Administrative Assistant.

The successful candidate must have strong customer service, problem-solving and organizational skills, and be able to advise office staff and make recommendations for changes regarding office best practices. This position develops work schedules for front office staff, maintains Center room scheduling, oversees client intake procedures and tracks insurance authorizations. In addition, the candidate must have an ability to work with various accounting and health records software. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Competitive Wage: $17.00

Work Schedule:  Monday through Thursday 9:30 am – 5:30 pm & 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Friday
