Since 2001, The Center for Balanced Living has served as the only freestanding, non-profit specialized eating disorder organization providing comprehensive treatment, research and educational services for older adolescents and adults in Central Ohio. Our vision is to create strength through balanced living through a variety of services including psychotherapy, nutrition counseling, medication management, and more.
The Center for Balanced Living is currently accepting applications for a board-certified psychiatrist with an interest in treating eating disorders. Experience with this specialized population is preferred; however we are willing to train to the eating disorder specialty.
This position will serve The Center as Medical Director (15 hours) and provide Outpatient psychiatric services (25 hours).
Primary Responsibilities include
· Oversight of medical protocols and practice for all levels of care; partial hospital, intensive outpatient, our 5-Day treatment program for eating disorders and Outpatient
· Direct and supervise the medical team providing quality, evidence-based care to Center clients.
· Serve as collaborating physician for The Center’s psychiatric nurse practitioners
· Oversight of all medical policies and procedures meeting CARF standards of care
