FT Outpatient Therapist

The Center for Balanced Living has an opening for a full time outpatient psychotherapist to provide psychotherapy for older adolescents (ages 16+) and adults (ages 18+) with both eating disorders and other mental health disorders through individual, couples, group, and family therapy. Fulltime outpatient therapists provide approximately 28 hours of direct hours of therapy per week. Preferred candidates will be independently licensed as an LPCC, LISW or psychologist in the state of Ohio, be credentialed on multiple insurance panels,  utilize evidence-based treatment modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT), demonstrate the ability to manage a full caseload of clients, and have training/expertise in a specialized area (e.g., trauma, older adults, substance-related and addictive disorders, etc.). 

Experience with this specialized population is preferred; however, we are willing to train a well-qualified applicant.  Expert supervision is provided for the first year of employment with ongoing support as the specialization is refined over time.  This position includes paid time off, educational/professional organization allowances and optional health benefits after a 90 day probationary period.

FT Clinician for Intensive outpatient programs

The Center for Balanced Living has an opening for a full time clinician to provide services within our Intensive Outpatient Programs for older adolescents (ages 16+) and adults (ages 18+) with both eating disorders and other mental health disorders. Clinical experience will include providing group facilitation (some night and weekend hours required), individual case management, family/support psychotherapy sessions, as well as administrative responsibilities to support the operation of the programs. Preferred candidates will be independently licensed as an LPCC, LISW or psychologist in the state of Ohio, have knowledge in utilizing evidence-based treatment modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT), demonstrate the ability to manage and care for high-acuity clients who experience a variety of co-occurring conditions that effect their functioning. Qualified candidates may also have training/expertise in a specialized area (e.g., trauma, older adults, substance-related and addictive disorders, etc.).
