Clinician for 5-Day Treatment Program for Eating Disorders

The Center for Balanced Living has an opening for a full time clinician working in our 5 Day Treatment for Eating Disorders. In this position you will provide family-based interventions for clients ages 16+ who have a current or past diagnosis of Anorexia Nervosa.  Our 5 Day Treatment for Eating Disorders is a 45 hour, one week program incorporating the very latest neurobiological research into family-based treatment for adults and late adolescents with eating disorders.  This cutting-edge, innovative program runs monthly drawing clients from all over the country and world. Preferred candidates will be counselors, social workers and psychologists with a demonstrated interest in providing evidence-based care for clients with eating disorders.  Experience with this specialized population is preferred; however, we are willing to train a well-qualified applicant.  Expert supervision is provided for the first year of employment with ongoing support as the specialization is refined over time.  This position will enjoy a flexible schedule 40 weeks of the year and competitive wages.  This position also includes paid time off, holiday pay, educational/professional organization allowances, professional malpractice insurance and optional health benefits after a 90 day probationary period. 

The Center for Balanced Living has served as the only freestanding, non-profit specialized eating disorder organization providing comprehensive treatment, research and educational services for older adolescents and adults in Ohio since 2001.  Our vision is to create strength through balanced living through a variety of services including psychotherapy, nutrition counseling, medication management, and more.
